It is fantastic to have football and netball back in full swing
and 2021 is shaping up to be another big year for the Kadina
Football Club. President, Nick Bruce, and new A grade coach
Rian Nelson has injected some new energy into the club and
we are hoping the whole township of Kadina gets behind us.
Our sponsors are an integral part of our club. Many sponsors
support the club in a number of ways – at working bees,
volunteering on Saturdays, plus donating money or goods so
the club can operate successfully.

I t gives the committee and myself
great pleasure to announce Rian
Nelson as senior coach for the 2021
season.
Rian has 16 years of A grade
coaching experience recently taking
Gumeracha to their first premiership
in 35 years. He has completed a
level 3 in coaching and has worked
within the ranks at the SANFL as his
full time employment.
A very good communicator and a
no stone unturned approach to the
game will surely see “The Bloods”
take a big step in achieving the
ultimate in the 2021 season.
I’d like to take this opportunity to
welcome Rian, his wife Angela and 4
children Breannah, Bradmyn, Tayler
and Sienna to our great club.
W e are happy to announce that
our Reserves coach for 2021 is
Matthew Bodie.
Matt played all his junior football for
Kadina and as an 18 year old played
in the 2003 B Grade winning grand
final. He then moved to Adelaide for
a while returning to the area to play
for arch rival Wallaroo.
Matt continues to play the game he
loves at a high standard and has a
wealth of knowledge from years of
experience.
On behalf of the Kadina Football

and wish him the best of luck and
well wishes.
