March Students of the Month Math Department Emani Jenkins- 7th Grade Emani has made a huge change since returning back to school in person. I have enjoyed being able to see her and she has earned a 100% on every single assignment since returning to 4 days a week! I am so proud of the changes she has made in our math class. Keep up the great work Emani! Nominated by Ms. Peggy Wilson Hector Villa- 7th Grade Hector as been such an incredible math student all year long. He is polite, friendly and always makes sure to greet me. He was a great remote learner and now that we are in person, he is continuing to do awesome. I am so glad that I was able to be his math teacher this year. Nominated by Ms. Peggy Wilson Bailey Hanks- 8th Grade The Math Department would like to recognize Bailey Hanks as Student of the Month for March. Bailey is an exceptional student, and a joy to have in the classroom. Bailey never misses class, always has his camera on, and participates often. He always works extremely hard and take his academics seriously. Bailey is a model student and should be looked up to. Thank you Bailey for being such a hard worker and showing others the way it should be done. Nominated by Mrs. Jodie Jackels Emilee Saggio- 8th Grade The Math Department would like to recognize Emilee Saggio as Student of the Month for March. Emilee is a very polite young lady and is a pleasure to have in class. She is hardworking and takes her work very seriously. She always attends class, almost always has her camera on, and she participates. Emilee is a model student and she dos all the right things. The Math Department is very proud of Emilee Saggio. March Students of the Month Science Department Sunny Valle- 7th Grade Sunny consistently does excellent work. Her dedication to her school work was has earned her a grade well above 100 percent. She has risen to the Covid challenge and it is a pleasure to have her actually in my classroom. Congratulations! Nominated by Mr. Alan Schmidt Kiyth Yon-Taing- 7th Grade Kiyth’s hard work and dedication has earned him a score of over 100 percent. He has met and overcome the challenge presented to him during this Covid-19 pandemic. It is comforting to know that this young man will someday be involved in keeping this nation moving forward. Thank you Kiyth. Nominated by Mr. Alan Schmidt Jacob Travis- 8th Grade Congratulations Jacob on earning March Science Student of the Month! Jacob has rocked the remote learning the first semester with his excellent work, thorough answers, and questions in class. Second semester he was placed into accelerated Science class. He was flexible with the changes and fit right into his new class. I am so impressed he went and completed the first semester accelerated science work to catch up with his peers. This proved what a driven student he is and has a 100% work ethic. Jacob is very polite and helpful in the classroom too. Congrats Jacob! Keep up the fantastic work! Nominated by Ms. Terri Kunz Lydia Harris- 8th Grade Congratulations Lydia for earning 8thGrade Science Student of the Month! Lydia has given 110% effort in being a remote learner. She has shown up to every single google meet for the entire year. She constantly asks questions for understanding/clarification which also helps her peers. Lydia’s work ethic is unbelievable. March Students of the Month Language Arts Department Samuel Medlin- 7th Grade Sam is a kindhearted and hard-working young man. He is not afraid to ask questions or help out when needed. Throughout the year, he’s been on time, on camera, and on his game during class. He always has a positive attitude to match his winning smile. Keep up the great work, Sam! Nominated by Mrs. Sherry Kennedy Raelee Witter- 7th Grade Raelee is an exceptional young lady. Her smile and positivity are contagious. Since the beginning of the year, she has been on time to every meeting, on camera, and ready to tackle whatever work comes at her. It has been a joy to have Raelee in my class. I’m thankful we get to spend the entire 4th quarter together. Keep up the great work, Raelee! Nominated by Mrs. Sherry Kennedy Daisha Lewis- 8th Grade Whenever the 4th hour begins, I look for Daisha Lewis in the Meet. And, of course she is there with her camera on and smiling. Daisha participates in class by answering questions in the chat and also asking questions to us. She works hard on all of her assignment and never gives up. She is truly a wonderful student and I’m so grateful that she is in our language arts class. Nominated by Mrs. Sarah Chapman-Wiser Caleb Harris- 8th Grade Keithan Noel is a wonderful student to have in my Language Arts class. He attends Meets and participates by asking and answering questions. Keithan has worked diligently on his writing this year and I have seen a huge improvement on his work choices and sentence structure. Keithan is a pleasure to have in class. March Students of the Month Social Studies Department Josie Marlin- 7th Grade Josie has broken out of her shell since coming into in person learning. She has excelled in her academics this semester and has been a great friend to those in need. Don’t be afraid to show off your artistic abilities and keep up the great work and building on the confidence you have established since coming back to school. Keep up the great work! Nominated by Mr. Austin Hawkins Dallas Householder- 7th Grade Dallas has undergone a complete transformation since being with us in person for the second semester. His personality has shown and he gets along with all of his teachers and staff here in the building. He has brought up all of his grads and wants to do his best each and every day. Dallas will answer questions and bring up great discussion points in class. Keep up the good work sir and you will accomplish great things! Nominated by Mr. Austin Hawkins Hayden McNeely - 8th Grade I have truly enjoyed having Hayden in class this year. He has been an extremely hard worker in History class, turning in outstanding work. He comes to class prepared everyday and even laughs at my bad dad jokes. Not only have I enjoyed him in class, I also enjoyed coaching him on the baseball field last fall. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this bright young man. Nominated by Mr. Scott Smallie Merina Scott- 8th Grade Merina has been a joy to have in class. She is an extremely hard worker that goes above and beyond on her assignments. Not only has Merina excelled in the classroom but she has also excelled in her sport of Cheerleading. March Students of the Month Tyler Kamacho- 8th Grade Tyler is being nominated for Student of the Month because of his amazing work ethic, his great attendance, and his ability to comprehend and follow directions. Congratulations Tyler and keep up the great work! Nominated by Ms. MaryRuth Snelson Bailey Halverson- 7th Grade Bailey is a joy to have in class. She works extremely hard in completing all classwork and at arriving on time. She is considered our class cheerleader for all the positive supports she gives to her classmates. She is always very compassionate and encouraging to everyone. She makes class discussion very lively and her perspective makes us look at things in a new way.
