Concurrent Sessions 2:00 PM - 2:50 PM Smart Salary Negotiations Presenter: Addye Buckley-Burnell, Assistant Director, Career Development This session will provide students with tangible approach to salary negotiations. Presenter: Tracy Richard, Lecturer and Director of HCOB Integrated Financial Leadership Program Defining a professional practice is a complex endeavor that often requires an internal audit and a deeper understanding of self. When you are prepared to move into your destiny, a fulfilling life as a practitioner will follow. This session explores the natural convergence of preparation and opportunity and examines how participants can leverage their passions to maximize their leadership potential. Networking and Closing 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM Mindfulness in Work-Life Integration Presenter: Michelle Torbor, MA, LPC, NNC, Cardinal Wellness This session will provide attendees with an opportunity to ex- plore the nuances of work-life integration while networking with peers and industry professionals

Laura Chipman Laura Chipman is a marketing & privacy attorney and life coach for lawyers. As a coach, she helps women lawyers live and practice intentionally. As a lawyer, she takes pride in empowering her clients with practical and creative solutions to legal challenges. She graduat- ed with honors as a double Tar Heel from UNC School of Law and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Laura is also a mom to two boys and lives with her family in a 200-year-old farmhouse in rural North Carolina. Addye Buckley-Burnell Addye Buckley-Burnell joined the Auburn University Career Center in 2012 and currently hold the title of Associate Director, Career Development. In this role, she oversees the career counseling functions of the office and supervises the career counseling staff, graduate assistants, and student peer career advisors. In addition to her work with individual students, Addye teaches a variety of courses, formalizes the assessment of this centralized Career Center, and coordinates the Campus Career Closet. Prior to her position at Auburn University, Addye was a Career Resources Specialist in the Career Center at Missouri State University where she specialized in working with international students. In the beginning of her career, Addye earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Central Missouri and a Master of Education in Counseling from University of Missouri-St. Louis. Addye is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Missouri and Alabama, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Distance Credentialed Counselor (DCC), and Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF) with experience in a variety of counseling areas including mental health, academic and career. She is currently a PhD candidate in the Adult Education program and hopes to defend her disserttion in August 2021.
Necole Floyd-Turner, JD Necole Floyd-Turner is an Author and Podcaster. Her motto of “the best thing that we have to offer is the gift of knowledge to all we encounter” is something that applies in her everyday life. Her company “Innovative Butterfly” serves as a creative outlet for her writings and podcast, “The Beautiful Butterfly Project” that helps others develop strategies to empower themselves in life and in business. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Auburn University and a Juris Doctor from The Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL. Affectionately known as “The Butterfly”, Necole has been a keynote speaker, workshop facilitator and presents on topics such as women’s empowerment, mindfulness and strategic goal setting. Her passion and heart’s mission is to help educate entrepreneurs in business on the many aspects of protecting their work product and brand. Currently she is an Adjunct Professor at Kennesaw State University in Georgia in the area of Paralegal Studies. She lives in Atlanta with her fellow Auburn Alumni husband of 24 years, Felix and has two sons Nicholas, 22 and Cristian, 14.
Tracy Richard Tracy Richard currently works in the Finance Department of the Harbert College of Business as a Lecturer and Director of the college’s Integrated Financial Leadership Program. Through her role as Director, she is charged with establishing programs and curriculum that drive advanced student preparation and placement for top finance students including Auburn’s Financial Management Association (FMA) and the Auburn Student Investment Fund (ASIF). Tracy received her M.S. from West Virginia University and her M.B.A. from University of Nevada Las Vegas. Her industry background is in corporate investment banking where she worked for Wells Fargo in their Las Vegas Gaming Division - and for SunTrust in their Nashville diversified industries group. Tracy has received the FMA National Outstanding Advisor Award, Auburn University Final Lecture Award, AU Parents Association Faculty Award, Corey Edwards Advisor of the Year Award and the Harbert College of Business Outstanding Faculty Member, Professional, and Teaching Awards.
Michelle Torbor Michelle Torbor is a licensed professional counselor and speaker in Birmingham, Alabama. Michelle is the owner of Cardinal Wellness, where she focuses on private practice psychotherapy and consultation with organizations that wish to optimize their services by addressing mental health concerns. In addition, she has written and presents material to help individuals achieve racial reconciliation. Michelle received a B.A. in Psychology from Auburn University and an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University. She is a lifelong learner who seeks to combine research and the art of counseling to cultivate growth in every area of life. Michelle is the proud wife of Reggie and mother to R.J. and Cameron.
