ABOUT US Synergy Bulgaria is a youth organization founded in 2013. We are friends, volunteers, youth workers and trainers united by a common interest to share our personal and professional experience in the areas of personal development and coaching. We work mainly with youth and adults who strive for personal and professional growth and are ready to experiment while learning. We organize public events, international trainings andyouth exchanges, local seminars and workshops. We empower, inspire and educate people to be active members in society by bringing positive change in it.

PROJECT ENVIRONMENT
Sofia, Bulgaria
The project will take place in Sofia where Synergy Bulgaria is registered and holds most of its activities. You’ll have a
chance to enjoy city vibes for the next 12 months by living with other volunteers, working together in the office and
organizing local events and a personal project. Sofia is a dynamic Eastern European capital, a home to many parks and
cafes, as well as it can offer a beautiful scenery and a developed ski-resort in a very close vicinity - the Vitosha mountain.
The population of Sofia is 1,7 mln. people and it’s home to 16 universities which means you’ll have a chance to meet local
youth, as well as get connected to other ESC volunteers. Sofia has also got an airport of its own which means a weekend
in Athens, Istanbul or even Tel-Aviv will be an easy thing to plan. By the way, Bulgaria is a cheap country, so being a
volunteer here will be comfy and nice. And for party animals - yes, there are pretty some clubs and bars to go for a drink
and meet new people.
ABOUT THE PROJECT Learn.Grow.Change ESC program was created for young people who have aspirations, dreams and ideas, and just need the stage to shine on. Entrepreneurship: more than a fancy word. It means the power to make your ideas take form and methods to let your vision gain life. The duration of the project is 12 months from December 2021 to November 2022. You should be ready to commit for the whole year.

VOLUNTEERS’ ACTIVITIES
We will be happy to welcome volunteers who are ready to actively participate in the project and willing to
learn. We will support you in creating your own learning goals and in the process of achieving them,
as well as in creating your own personal project.
Your activities will include:
• facilitation in local workshops/storytelling
events;
• networking and support of local NGOs (sharing
know-how and creating common projects);
• promotion of volunteering among local and • writing and managing Erasmus+ & ESC projects

OUR PROJECTS
7 VOLUNTEER PROFILE & SELECTION PROCESS The project is open for young people aged 18-27 from Italy, Spain, Lithuania, Greece, Romania and Hungary interested in the project activities and supporting the mission of Synergy Bulgaria. The main criterion for the selection is motivation to participate in this specific project. To take part in the selection process, please fill in the application form at the end of this presentation. We will schedule a Zoom meeting with you, and based on the interviews we will select final candidates who share the values of Synergy Bulgaria and stand interest and motivation to participate in the life of our NGO. We’re still open for 3 more candidates to join the team!
HOW TO APPLY? If you feel like joining our Synergy Bulgaria team for the next 12 months, fill in the application form, and we’ll contact you for a Zoom interview very soon. The selection process is ongoing, meaning there is no deadline to submit your application. Be ready to jump in the airplane and join us on the 1st of December / as soon as possible.
