How do I Visit Colleges Right Now? ● In-Person Visits: All public universities are conducting in-person visits and events. Check for deadlines to sign up as capacity may vary. Speaking of Tests... Test scores are NOT factored into the admissions equation even if scores are submitted Test Optional Student can decide whether or Test Blind not to submit test scores, but if submitted, they will be looked at NOTE: some degree programs and scholarships may still require test scores

How to Apply with the Common App 1. Go to commonapp.org to get started 2. Create your account (use an email address you use regularly as it becomes your username) 3. Add schools to your “My Colleges” list--to do this click on the “College Search” tab and enter as much information as you know 4. Know the requirements for each school 5. Gather the information you need: high school courses/grades, ACT/SAT scores and dates taken, activities involved in, awards received, parent/guardian information 6. START!!!
Naviance We send all of your application materials from our office electronically through Naviance (this includes: transcripts, school report, counselor forms, teacher letters of recommendation) You will add colleges to your “Colleges I’m Applying To” list and indicate the admission deadline you are choosing If you are applying via Common App, you will need to go into Naviance and MATCH your Common App account to Naviance by entering the same email address you used to create your Common App account (easy peasy, really!) Once you get your decision from the school, you will go in and enter that next to the school name (we need data for future use:)) You can also use Naviance to search for colleges, careers, scholarships **CHECK OUT THE NAVIANCE HELP VIDEOS ON OUR WEBSITE**
