Kirk Happenings S Week of September 19, 2021 The Gayton Kirk PCUSA 11421 Gayton Rd Henrico VA 23238 P.O. Box 29635, Henrico, VA 23242 Introducing our Union Presbyterian Interns Hello! My name is Sarah Grace Hall. I am 25 years old and originally from Little Rock, Arkansas. I am entering into my third and final year at Union Presbyterian Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity. In 2018 I graduated from the University of Arkansas. From there I served as a Young Adult Volunteer through the PCUSA in Washington D.C. working with individuals in the DMV area experiencing homelessness. Growing up, I was an active member of my youth group; being able to build a community, growing and changing together, was fundamental to me and lead me to the path that I am on today. I am so excited to be a part of another wonderful faith community and to continue growing and building with the members of The Gayton Kirk Church! Outside of school I love to watch bad reality TV (major Bravo TV fan), embroider, listen to true crime podcasts and music (I love Harry Styles and The Avett Brothers!), and spending a copious amount of time with my friends, family, and two dogs Ellie and Lucy (unfortunately they must stay in Arkansas). I am so excited to join The Gayton Kirk community and look forward to meeting everyone very soon! Greetings! I’m Stacy Deyerle (pronounced die early) I have been attending the Gayton Kirk since fall of 2018, and am so happy to get to connect with the church in a new way through this internship. I am a late-in-life seminarian, and am currently in my 2nd year as a full-time student at UPSem. I am originally from the small town of Blue Ridge, VA, but have lived in the west end of Richmond for 25 years. During that time, I have worked for various local churches and non-profits, with a primary focus in the areas of missions, community outreach, and education. My husband Rusty and I live in Tuckahoe with our 3 senior adult dogs , 1 elderly cat, and 3 tanks of fish. Our daughter Emily is a graduate student studying biology at 1 Georgia Tech.
