A LETTER FROM THE CAMP DIRECTOR Dear Summer Camp Families, I hope that all is well with you and your extended family. Whether you are new to our camps or a returning camper, WELCOME! Whether you come for one week or all eight, we promise you’ll have an exciting time learning new things, pursuing your passions and interests, meeting new friends or perhaps rekindling old friendships. Summer is my favorite time of the year. I am excited just thinking about June 6th, which will be the start of my 27th summer camp here at New City School! Along with my awesome office and camp staff, we have eight weeks of summer fun planned for New City School (NCS) and non-NCS campers. As we strive to deliver innovative and fun summer experiences, know that we are all about JOYFUL LEARNING AND JOYFUL PLAY! As we deal with the challenges of COVID-19, we remain committed to the safety and well- being of our campers and staff as outlined in the summer preparedness plan that you will receive via email closer to the start of camp. We are taking guidance from local and state government, as well as health officials. We have camp procedures in place and will be ready for your camper when camp begins. As you browse through the camp listings, take a look at the weekly themes. Our qualified counselors are New City School teachers, non-NCS teachers, current college students, and seasoned NCS staff, assisted by well-trained Jr. Counselors, many of whom grew up with us as campers themselves. Lots of fun and a great camp experience will be had by ALL! COME AND SPEND THE SUMMER WITH US!
