Beach, mountains and desert locations Dear Birth Parent, As I write, the first thought that comes from my heart is to tell you that you are a very special person. I admire and respect your courage and strength for the path that you are taking in making an adoption plan. I thank you for considering me and believe that God will give you the guidance and wisdom that you need as you make the best choice possible. I was born and raised in Rochester NY. I have been most fortunate to be raised with my parents and brother along with a big extended family with many cousins, aunts and uncles. 2 of my cousins are adopted so I am very familiar with adoption. I remember the 2 special days as a young girl, when my adopted cousins were born into our family. My dad and mom were loving parents to my brother Steve and me. My brother and I played many games together growing up. We had many family gatherings, birthday parties and all the holidays were filled with food, fun and love, and they still are today. My parents took us on summer vacations while we were growing up and we were able to visit many nice places in America. I am blessed to continue to spend a great deal of time with my loving family and many special friends who are just like my family. There always seems to be some special event to get together and enjoy each other. Traveling is something I enjoy very much. I plan to share this interest with my adopted child as it is so helpful in growing as a person and learning about different places, history and meeting many different wonderful people in the world. I enjoy the outdoors all year around but also travel to Florida in the winter to visit my brother and his family who live there now. I also enjoy sports and working out as part of my life. Growing up playing sports helped me learn how to be a team player and allowed me to make many lifelong friends. Like my parents did for my brother and me, I plan to provide my adopted child with a solid educational foundation that will allow him/her to pursue their dreams, find their God-given talents, learn and acquire a skill set that will bring them financial independence and the ability to get a good job that they enjoy. I work with my dad in the financial industry, helping many people make important decisions on how to save and invest for their families and futures. My business education plus the many industry credentials that I have worked hard to attain have provided me with a good standard of living to share with my adopted child. I also have the flexibility to set my own schedule and work from home or in the office. I volunteer at my church on the hospitality team making everyone who comes in feel welcomed. We also provide them with some nice snacks. The Fellowship Hall is always full of my wonderful friends and many FKLOGUHQ,KDYHEHHQLQYROYHGZLWKWKH&KLOGUHQ¶V0LQLVWU\DQGKDYHEHHQD6XQGD\6FKRROWHDFKHU I have found these volunteer activities to be both fulfilling and enriching for my life. I look forward to the day that I can share these experiences with my adopted child. As I raise my adopted child, I already know within myself that we will have a wonderful life together. I have always wanted to be a mom and I will deeply love my adopted child, and he/she will be surrounded and loved by many family members and friends. I do plan to marry when The Lord brings me together with the right mate. Seeing as I am a very social person with a big family and many friends, my adopted child will have many playmates and always have the opportunity to make new friends. The strong foundations and values that I have been given, love for God and family, education, work ethic, and care for my fellow human being will be instilled into the life of my child. A boatload of love awaits this wonderful child when he/she comes into my life. Heartfelt thanks to you for considering me, and may God bless you with a happy future.
