Tourist Association of the Sanremo Municipality, along with "Liguria Travel"-
Belgrade, are organizing International Folklore Festival Sanremo 2018.

This festival is one of the best festivals which are organized in Europe. The best is
because it gathers the best folklore ensembles from the participating countries, the
performance will be held in famous Sanremo Casino hall , spectacular performance
will be held in the center of Sanremo city, in front of the huge number of visitors
and also visits to Cannes, Nice,Eze,Monaco and Monte Carlo are organized.

Due to exceptional interest for participation in this prestigious festival organizer is
forced to organize festival in two terms.

In the first term from March 24th – 28th , 15 ensembles will participate from
15 European countries. In the second t e r m from M a r c h 29th to April 2nd also will
participate 15 ensembles.

All folklore groups from all EUROPE countries can sign up for this International
Folklore Festival Sanremo 2018 with no restrictions on age and number of
participants.

1.day- Morning arrival in Sanremo. Placing the hotel. Departure of groups in the
Casina -Sanremo hall ,where it will be held the festival opening and performance. Rehearsal is
optional /not required. Free time, dinner, overnight in hotel .
    At 21 h meeting of the organizing committee with representatives of all ensembles, press
conference with numerous journalists and TV Rai Uno.

   2.day – Breakfast, optional tour of wonderful French cities Nice, Eze.
In the morning hours a tour of the small medieval town of Eze, which is located at top of the
rock above the sea, with many galleries, cafes, remarkable garden with cactuses and rare
plants, and also beautiful views of the sea and the surrounding area.
    After visiting Fragonard perfume factory, journey continues to Nice, the largest city and
the pearl of Côte d'Azur. Panoramic city sightseeing, visiting the Mason Square, the Palace
of Justice, flower market, the belvedere. Returning to hotel, dinner, clothes changing. Then
follows defile of groups, opening ceremony of the Festival at the Casino -Sanremo and revue
performances of groups, according to previously established schedule .Returning to hotel.
Night in hotel .

3.day–. Breakfast, optional excursion to Cannes, Monaco - Monte Carlo.
The Principality of Monaco and Monte Carlo is located between the Alps and the
Mediterranean. Mythical places that offers you dreams and reality:
half-day trip, panoramic sightseeing, The Prince's Palace, The Cathedral where princess
Grace Kelly is buried, exotic botanical garden, passing F1 track, visit to casino Monte Carlo,
coffee time at Cafe de Paris. Evening return to hotel. Dinner. Night in hotel.

   4.day– Breakfast, free time . From 16pm. performance of groups in Sanremo city center,
awards ceremony, returning to hotel, dinner, shared party. Night in hotel.

    5.day – . Breakfast. Leaving the hotel. Individual departures.

TOTAL PACKAGE PRICE IS € 155

Package includes: :

•   accommodation in San Remo in hotel of 3 * in rooms of maximum three or four beds, with breakfast
(Swedish table - smorgasbord buffet) and dinner
•   urban tourist tax of 10 Euros
•   services of the permanent companion of the group
•   participation in festival
•   agency services

Package does NOT include:
•   transport of the groups
•   parking for the bus (where it is necessary)
•   jek point of entry to Monaco and Monte Carlo
•   expenses of an international travelling health insurance
•   individual passenger’s expenses.
•   extra payment for single bedroom

Notes:

• On every 25 participants, 1 is gratis
•   There is no age limit and number of the participants and followers.

Festival propositions:

•      All groups from the main Festival section have to prepare three different programs of about 12 minutes
maximum.
•      It is necessary to bring a flag from the country you come from and to emphasize it during the performance on the
visible place by a decision of the organizers.
•      It is also necessary to bring a board with the name of a group and country from where the group comes
from.
• Participating groups have to send 5-6 photos and a video clip of the group performance.
• Also, all groups have to be ready for live public appearance with the Orchestra (recommended) or with the
CD.
• Organizers keep back the right to change some of the Festival general conditions of what you will be
completely informed on due time.
• If you choose to participate in the Festival, the organizer will send an official letter of invitation
• Upon receipt of the letter of invitation, you are obliged within 15 days, to pay 30% of the total package to
organizer's bank account.
• The remaining amount of 70% will be paid at the hotel upon arrival
