HUON SHORT COURSE I was nervous at the beginning but at the end I was really happy with my results. The dressage was fun. I tried to smile at the judge a lot. The cross country and jumping were fun. Waiting around for my turn was a bit nerve-wracking but overall I had a really good time. Morgan Holmes I really enjoyed it, especially because it was very friendly and encouraging and fun. At the start I was real- ly worried of what might go wrong but then I did my dressage and jumping and cross country finished and in all of that it was soooooo fun. I think it is a very good starting competition and for someone like me a very good competing boost. Pia Holmes WELCOME BACK TO DRESSAGE DAY On the 30th August, Kizi and I attended the Huntingfield Welcome Back to Dressage day. The weather conditions were very nice at the start of the day but it got very windy around 1, some of the arenas blew over from the strong wind but we kept going through the day. Over- all it was an amazing day for our first outing back! Well done to all the riders and thank you to everyone who helped and sorted out this day ! Lucy Larcombe 0801
THEORY NIGHTS AT THE CLUB Recently we have held a couple of theory nights to support our members doing their certificates. Big thanks to Liz Booth, Liz Elliott and Gaylene Brouwer who give up their time to instruct, and well done to all the attendees working hard through those workbooks. Not to mention the ultimate brain food—pizza! 1209
