FCA Statement of Faith
1. We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of
God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
2. We believe that there is only one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son
and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
3. We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in
His vicarious and atoning death through his shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in
His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and
glory. (Deity – John 1:1, 14); (Atonement- Hebrews 9:15-22);(Virgin Birth – Matthew 1:18,
25); (Bodily Resurrection – 1 Corinthians 15:18); (Sinless Life – Hebrews 4:15); (Personal
Return –Hebrews 9:27-28)
4. We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful men (and women), regeneration by
the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential. (John 3:16; John 5:24; Titus 3:3-7)
5. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian
is enabled to live a godly life. (John 14:15-26; John 16:5-16; Ephesians 1:13, 14)
6. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that they are saved unto
the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of
damnation. (Matthew 25:31-46, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)
7. We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. (Philippians 2:1-4)

Start a Virtual Huddle through YouVersion
These instructions are for a mobile device.
1. First things first...
a. Download The Bible app on your phone.
b. From the Home Screen in the app, choose SEARCH.
i. Search for a specific keyword.
ii. Search FCA, COACHES, or ATHLETES.
iii. Also, check out the suggested plans on the Home Screen.
c. Choose a plan.
**Be sure to screen the plan before you select it based on the name. Read a few days. Make
sure it’s sound and what you want!
d. Choose START PLAN.
e. Choose how you want to read the plan (if you are doing a virtual Huddle, choose WITH
FRIENDS).
f. Select when you want to start the plan. I suggest giving yourself a day to promote and
starting the plan TOMORROW.
g. Choose INVITE YOUR FRIENDS.
i. If you already have friends in the app, you can select them.
ii. If you want to invite someone outside the app (ALWAYS INVITE THIS WAY)…
1. Press the link at the bottom.

2. Choose your messaging app or mail icon, then message or mail to your
intended contact.
3. You can edit the message you send, but don’t mess with the link.
4. Be sure to include what it is, invite them to be a part, and let them know when
the start date is.
5. You can INVITE FRIENDS at any time during the plan days, but you need to do
it this way so they join your group.
2. Once you have started inviting you have everything set up…
a. Open the app.
b. Choose PLANS.
c. Find your plan and choose it.
d. You will see the dates of the plan under the name.
e. The night before, go ahead and read the next day’s devotional, scripture, and Talk It Over.
(stay a day ahead)
i. Talk It Over
1. Go ahead and post your thoughts first thing in the morning OR the night
before
2. Post questions for your participants.
3. Check this several times throughout the day, and respond to each person who
comments.
f. Each morning, especially Day 1,, text your participants and invitees, reminding them of the
plan day and to check it out.

a. Open the app.
b. Choose PLANS.
c. Find your plan and choose it.
d. In the middle of the page, you’ll see “Day __ of ___” and several circles underneath of the
people who have joined the plan. Touch the circles.
e. PARTICIPANTS will come up. Choose INVITE OTHERS at the bottom.
f. Press the link at the bottom.
g. Choose your messaging app or mail icon and send to your intended contact.
h. You can edit the message you send, but don’t mess with the link.

Recording a Devotion or Verse for Coastal Plains FCA
THANK YOU for taking the time to work on this!
For your content…
Find a Power Verse or a devotion that’s helping you right now, then use it for your video.
Keep it simple! Some of the best messages get right to the point!
Write out or practice what you’d like to say. Record it several times to get comfortable.
Remember to include who you are, where you go to school, and what sports you play/coach.
When recording…
Remember to say who you are, where you go to school, and what sports you play/coach.
Try to get outside! It’s so gorgeous right now and outside lighting is the best!
No matter inside or outside, check your background. Make sure it’s straight, clean, etc.
Take several recordings to not only practice but also to be happy with your finished project.
Wear your jersey or school shirt or something school and sport related!
Videos need to be:
• 1 minute or less (this time frame is best for Instagram, but can also be used on FB or
YouTube)
• Encouraging - Focus on POSITIVE, not unknown/negative. Share an uplifting message!
• Equipping - Give your audience the Word! Always include at least one verse in your video!
• Empowering - Share how that verse is helping you right now. Pray at the end your video!
• Feel free to use iMovie!

Google Form Instructions
How
1. All Huddle Coaches will receive an email from Karen Carr with a link to the online form.
2. Once received, open the link, look in the upper right-hand corner and click on more options
tab. You will then see the option to “Make a Copy”.
3. CLICK on “Make a Copy” and Goggle Forms will duplicate the form for your own personal
use. The form will be stored in your Google Drive account.
4. Once you have copied the form, open the form and make any adjustments to the title or
add any additional information you need. Please do not take away any of the questions
that are already on the form.
5. Once you have your form ready and are ready to share it, CLICK on the “SEND” button in
the upper right corner of the page which will open an options page.
6. You can then email the form directly to your students or copy and paste a link to the form
in an email to send to them. All responses will come back to you and stored in the form.
