Havana
We arrived back in Havana with all our

Old Part of Town, La Habana Vieja.
Our hotel , Hotel Tejadillo, was three

One of the best ways to see Havana
is to take the free walking tour which
lasts about three hours and is done at a El Cristo and Che, Havana. The other great Cuban hero is Jose Marti who ranks alongside
leisurely pace. Christ and Che Guevara in the pecking order of Cuban heroes.
e most notable feature of Havana
is the Crumbling Baroque style houses
and the American cars from the fifties
alongside the Ladas. e cars both
American and Russian are a tribute to

skills of Detroit’s car makers.

during transit and the car is invariable
started by hot wiring it.

A visit to the Partagas Cigar factory
is a must and an eye opener. You see
the whole process from leaf selection
to the finished cigar at the end each
rolled by hand. e cost of the tour
was 10CUC but note you cannot buy a
ticket at the factory. Tickets can be
purchased at the Hotel Nacional or
Hotel Telegrafo. You find this out when

At the end of the tour you will be
brought to a locker room and offered
