RULES 1. Draft Order : See list below. Returning Champion has first choice and subsequent picks were determined by previous year’s Fundraising efforts and then in the order that each team signed up and PAID. We will draft in order of largest plots to smallest. 80x40 -> 60x40 -> 40x40 -> 20x20 -> 10x10 -> Piglets 2. The clock will start for the first pick at 12:00 PM. Each team will be given 3 minutes to make their selection before moving onto the next pick. This went FAST last year so advise all being there at NOON. The Map is stil under construction but you will have it shortly. 3. Any and all team members are encouraged to attend, however, if a team cannot have a representative present at The Draft, your team must inform a Draft Manager 24 hours prior to the draft and provide a contact and telephone number where the selecting team member can be reached. A Draft Manager will call the appointed non-present team member when they are on the clock. 4. If a team is not present and has not informed the Draft Manager in the 24 hour period, they will be moved to the back of the queue and a spot will be chosen for them at the end of the draft. 5. Trading: You do have the ability to move up and down the Draft Order if you can make an agreeable trade with another team. We understand that some teams may want to be close or may want certain plots. All trades must be signed off by BOTH Draft managers. Trading can occur anytime from the minute you have read the rules till 6pm the day of the Draft. If you need to contact another captain, let us know and we will put you in touch! 6. Trades involving money: If Team A wants Team B’s plot space and they agree to a trade for $100. Team A will write a check to “Hogs For The Cause” and the $100 will be banked in Team B’s piggy bank which will go towards their fundraising tally. 7. Draft Notes: It may be early but start planning your plots now! I encourage you to go to the UNO Festival Grounds and investigate. Map will come shortly. 8. Draft Day at Port Orleans: We will have FREE BEER available from kegs onsite. We will have access to the Tap Room but those beers are not free, essentially their specialty beers. No One Under The Age Of 21 Allowed. Come on out, have some or many beers and get to know your foes! 9. Finally, let’s have some fun and raise some $ for a great Cause!
