It is a new reserve so my not come up on Google Maps but it is opposite Port Ohope Wharf on Harbour Road. This is the start/finish line and where you will pick up maps on Saturday morning. Each CP is worth 100 points. The CPs marked in red on your map are possible checkpoints to miss out if you feel like you could run out of time. There is no penalty for missing a CP but if you do you will be ranked below the teams that collect all CPs, even if you finish before them. If you finish after 3 hours, you will be penalised 20 points for every minute that you are late. There are no bonus points for finishing early. The team that collects the most points in 3 hours wins. If you are tied for points, the team who crossed the finish line first places higher. Check points are mainly punches but some CPs will require you to write something down so pencils are required.
