AstraZeneca dosing intervals and efficacy The recommended interval between two doses is 4 to 12 weeks. In outbreak settings, the preferred interval has been adjusted to between 4 to 8 weeks. Booking a Vaccine • Huge interest in people wanting to get the vaccine in community pharmacy • Please open your booking portals as soon as you have placed your order, before you receive any stock. • Make sure you update your booking portal in MyGuild findapharmacy.com.au 15
Orders in outbreak areas • Maximum orders of 600 doses per fortnight. • Vaccination sites in outbreak areas are able to access additional AstraZeneca deliveries to support demand. • If you work in an outbreak area and would like to receive additional AstraZeneca doses, please contact the VOC on 1800 318 208. • The aim is to deliver all additional orders within 5 working days. • You can view the requested delivery date (RDD) for additional orders within your CVAS account. • Please note – additional orders for Pfizer are NOT available at this time. • Thank you for your patience, as this may increase waiting times when calling the VOC. 16
