FINANCE REPORTS Here’s what you need to know: The reporting period has been revised to cover all income and expenses of the troop(s) from September 1, 2018 through May, 31, 2019. The bank statements that will be required this year are: September 2018, December 2018 and March 2019. As a reminder, troops are only allowed one submission through the VTK per membership year, so do not submit before you are ready. Any troop co-leaders who have not yet renewed their membership for 2020 and/or do not have a current Troop Finance Reports are a requirement for all troops and background check that has an expiration date after were due June 1- July 31, 2019. September 30, 2019 will not be able to access the VTK until these are updated. If you have not yet submitted your troop’s finance report, please do so as soon as possible. 2019 Fall Product Program Make plans for the Fall Product Program This short, fun and engaging program is a great way for girls to learn important life earn skills and to earn money for their Girl Scout activities early in the troop year. The Stand Beside Her Girl Coalition is comprised of girls in 8th - 12th grade who believe in the power of supporting each other and the value of standing beside each other. Stand Beside Her is a movement created by girls, for girls, and we want to keep that girl-led spirit alive as our movement continues to grow! We are looking for girls who are creative, driven, and committed to supporting other girls. Girls will have a say in patch program updates, marketing campaigns, and outreach initiatives. By joining the coalition, girls will gain confidence and leadership skills. The Stand Beside Her Girl Coalition will have monthly conference calls where members can give their constructive feedback on different issues. Our hope is that by engaging a diverse group of girls, our movement will grow stronger.
