A message from Fr. Liam... H oly Week and Easter are the high points in our liturgical year, and in the celebration of this holy and sacred week there is much work, effort and participation. On this Sunday, Easter Sunday, we express our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all our Sacristans in all four Churches, our Choirs, Cantors and Musicians. Readers, Eucharistic Ministers (and their coordinators), Collectors, PowerPoint Volunteers, Stewards, those who clean and prepare our Churches, those who have beautified our churches with floral arrangements. Our parish office staff on the Sallins Road and in Ballycane. To each and every one of you, Thank You! And, to you, the parishioners for faithfully attending and making holy these special days, thank you for your kind and generous support to the parish by way of the basket collections, online and with tap and go. The Easter Collection is taken up in support of the priests of the parish and on my own behalf and on behalf of my colleagues, our sincere thanks and gratitude for being so kind and generous to us. We deeply appreciate it! Thank you! In the words of Pope Francis: “We must restore hope to young people, help the old, be open to the future and spread God’s love. We are all imperfect.
