Thursday – 7 April 2022 Cape Town
Depart on a full day Table Mountain and Cape Peninsula Tour after breakfast.
Take the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for panoramic views of the city (weather permitting). The world-
famous landmark is 3,258 feet above sea level, and the mountain itself is a national monument. From the summit
you can marvel at the awe-inspiring 360-degree view of the city.
Continue the tour as you’re driven along the stretch of coastline known as Millionaire’s Paradise – from Clifton to
Camps Bay, to the exclusive beach hamlet of Llandudno – towards the charming working harbor of Hout Bay. You
then wind your way along the legendary Chapman’s Peak Drive, hugging the cliffs and enjoying the ocean views.
After a stop for lunch, visit the wild and beautiful Cape of Good Hope section of the Table Mountain National Park, an
integral part of the world-renowned Cape Floral Kingdom.
Head back along the coast towards the city, visiting the historic naval port of Simon’s Town and the endearing
African penguin colony at Boulders Beach. Next, drive inland to the last stop of the day at Kirstenbosch Botanical
Gardens. With the sun setting over the peak of Table Mountain, return to your hotel after a full day of sightseeing.

Enjoy two daily game drives accompanied by a skilled ranger and tracker. Expect to encounter a diverse range of
animal and bird species on game drives. Since this is a Big Five reserve, seeing lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and
buffalo is possible.
While seeing a wide variety of wildlife is always exhilarating, there are many other smaller species that are also
captivating, and birding enthusiasts will be delighted at the approximately 350 species of birds recorded on the
reserve.
Return to the lodge, with time to freshen up before enjoying dinner. Evening meals are often enjoyed seated around
a roaring fire in the Rhino Boma. Alternatively enjoy a romantic dinner in the dry riverbed in front of the lodge, under
a star-studded African night sky.

Another day to experience exciting morning and afternoon game drives.
Halfway through the early morning game drive, there’s a stop for hot drinks and snacks, before returning to the
lodge for a full breakfast. Relax and cool off in the pool, just perfect for those hot summer days or to refresh you
after an exciting safari through the bush. Make sure your binoculars are on hand to watch the jewelled colored birds
flying around or the animals in the nearby bush.
Head out in the late afternoon for another exciting game drive.
