Although our company is best
known for its Christmas designs,
we always find time to develop
new and interesting gift ideas to
bring pleasure all the year round.
In this lookbook we introduce
some of our latest ideas for 2021
including a ‘Lost Garden’ for
Spring, a new ‘Relaxed Glamour’
collection, further extensions to
our fast-moving Pot collection
(in sympathy with the home-
bound) and we’ve added more
laid-back stylishness to our
Danish chic ranges. All positively
looking forward to a Spring 2021

WILDFLOWERS
A childhood spent in the north German
countryside has left in Gisela Graham a
lifelong passion for wild flowers. Her new
Wildflowers collection is the next best thing
to the real thing.

TWO TONE
Grey and white: a combination made for
contrast, to set off stabs of colour, like fierce
greens or reds.
CITRONELLA
Think lazy garden evenings with
friends and a glass of wine, and the
sweet scent of summer: Citronella. The
one we love, and the one that mozzies
and midges hate! Citronella candles in
handsome pots for the garden.

GARDEN
A slight unevenness in the
ground marks the place
where once a Great House
stood. In the undergrowth
the remains of a Lost Garden.

The inspiration is high Summer, when the
sun’s warmth opens flowers and welcomes
butterflies and dragonflies.

Who said wreaths are just for
Christmas? Gisela Graham’s Year-

SHORELINE The sea that surrounds our islands is an endless source of inspiration. In the latest version of her long- running ‘Shoreline’ collection, Gisela goes to the water’s edge and picks up periwinkles, ammonites, starfish, and cowries! 12 13

This collection finds Gisela Graham
in a mid-century mood. A bright,
eclectic mix of light wood, metal, and
fabric. Accessorised (authentically!)
with ceramics that make a playful nod
to the Expressionist art movement.

STUDY
Nature in all her myriad varieties;
leaves, birds, butterflies. A world
of beauty right under our eyes that
we’re too often, too busy to stop
and admire.
FRAMEWORK
It’s never been easier to capture precious memories, but so often
the images never leave the camera roll. With our new Framework
collection, we’re aiming to set those special moments free, to be
elegantly displayed as constant reminders all-round the house.
24 25MAKING HOMES BEAUTIFUL SINCE 1983
From small beginnings Gisela Graham has built up one of Europe’s leading giftware
design companies. Having made her name crafting beautiful decorations for
Christmas, Gisela turned her attention to bring German Easter decorations to the UK.
Following on from her success within these seasons, she turned her creative flair to
designing useful, pretty things for the home and garden.
Gisela was born in Germany and educated at Goettingen and Berlin Universities.
Gisela founded her business more than 35 years ago with a borrowed £27, starting
her business at the kitchen table when her children were small. She recalls ferrying
components and paint to outworkers around London, in a 2CV with a child in the back,
with Terence Conran being among her first customers.
Gisela is personally in charge of a talented in-house team of designers at the
converted stable-yard that doubles up as her London office and spectacular
showroom. She’s involved in the design and selection of every one of 4,500 products
in her range and sells to shops worldwide.
