2020 Release Schedule Note: Mobile and Recruiting Posting continues with a monthly release schedule. SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Analytics Cloud will have quarterly releases for 2020 (H1-2020) (H2-2020) Q2-2020 Q4-2020 b2002 b2011 Preview: April 10 Preview: October 16 Production: June 5 Production: Nov 20 SAP SuccessFactors will provide a five week Preview period prior to Production releases. Onboarding 2.0 H1-2020 Major changes Title Description Integration to 3rd party HRIS You can now connect Onboarding (2.0) with an external Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that manages employee data Signature Support for Compliance Signatories can now use either DocuSign or SAP SuccessFactors e- Forms Signature to sign compliance documents once the data for the compliance forms has been collected. Compliance Forms for UK and AUS Compliance forms for United Kingdom and Australia are now made available in Onboarding (2.0). As an administrator, you can now enable or disable these forms from Admin Center. Data Protection and Privacy The latest version of SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding Compliance for Onboarding (2.0) Compliance now supports Data Purge, Read Audit, Change Audit, and Forms Information Report for the compliance forms for United Kingdom and Australia. SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature The SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature solution has now been Enhancements improved. 9
Onboarding 2.0 H1-2020 Major changes Title Description Foundation and Generic Objects Recruit-to-Hire Data mapping now supports Foundation Objects, Support in Recruit-to-Hire Data MDF Foundation Objects (Generic Objects), and Custom Objects. Integration of Onboarding (2.0) with an External Human Resources Information System H1-2020 What is it? You can now connect Onboarding (2.0) with an external Human Resources Information System (HRIS) that manages employee data. Why is it important? The stages of the onboarding process before the hiring stage remain the same when using an external HRIS. You can export the list of new hires who are ready to be hired to the external system. After changing the candidate status to 'Hired' in the external system, you can update the status to Hired in Onboarding (2.0) by using the updateHiringInfo API. Prerequisites Employee Central V2 must be enabled. When you connect Onboarding (2.0) with an external HRIS, only the onboarding process is supported. Crossboarding and offboarding processes aren’t supported. Configuration Type: Universal 11
SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature Enhancements H1-2020 What is it? SAP built-in Signature Function has now been improved. Why is it important? The SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature enhancements increase usability and improves user experience. • SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature solution is supported on mobile devices. • SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature is now suported on Internet Explorer. • The e-Signed document is printed with the date as applicable in your respective time zone Configuration Type: Universal 12
SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature Improvements H1-2020 What is it? SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature is now available on mobile devices. Why is it important? It is supported on Internet Explorer, in addition to the existing support on Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari browsers. This functionality captures the date of the signature in the signatory's time zone. SAP SuccessFactors e-Signature functionality now provides a personalized experience to mobile device users. Prerequisites Configuration Type: Universal 13
Foundation and Generic Objects Support in Recruit-to-Hire Data Mapping H1-2020 What is it? Recruit-to-Hire Data mapping now supports Foundation Objects, MDF Foundation Objects (Generic Objects), and Custom Objects. Why is it important? Recruiting has introduced a new position field (std_position_obj) as a standard generic object for Job Requisition and Job Offer entities. This object is also supported in SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding (2.0). You no longer need to create custom fields to map objects from Recruit-to-Hire mapping in Onboarding (2.0). Prerequisites Integration with SF RCM Configuration Type: Universal 14
Force Completion of New Hire's Data Collection Tasks H1-2020 What is it? The Complete Personal Data Collection and the Complete Additional Data Collection tasks can now be performed by a new hire or a permitted user. Why is it important? The Complete Personal Data Collection and the Complete Additional Data Collection tasks are only available to the permitted user only when it’s listed as a To-Do tile for the new hire. This functionality is useful when a new hire doesn’t complete the Data Collection task even after multiple reminders. The permitted user can then provide the data on behalf of the new hire. Prerequisites Use the "Collect additional Onbaording Data" part of the Onboarding Process. Configuration Type: Universal 15
Review New Hire Data now optional H1-2020 What is it? The First Review Data step in the ONB process can now be removed from the process Why is it important? This can ensure a faster process getting the Tasks setup and the New Hire engaged faster 16
