Wallace Family Life Center To God be the Glory for all the "Great" things that He has done through the United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Churches of South Carolina Conference. The people of the Wallace Community of Marlboro County in South Carolina are forever grateful for Ministries you are doing in the Wallace Community. Ministries that are making a difference in their lives. Wallace Family Life Center served 80 families with three bags of groceries; bag#1 canned meats and dry goods, bag #2 canned goods only, bag#3 canned vegetables and canned fruits. Also reading materials and face masks were provided for children in each family. The Sunflower Gardening Club is making plans for their Spring Garden and Flower Beds at the center. Discussions are being held with Mrs. Shawn S. Harrington, Family Nutrition and Health Agent SC State University 1890 Extension Program, about hosting a two weeks "kids in the Kitchen Nutrition and Health Camp". This program may possibly be linked to our Summer Reading Program. Wallace Family Life Center provided Wallace Elementary Middle School with approximately 60 water bottles to help support their "Brain Based Learning Research Model." Wallace Family Life Center and South Carolina Department of Mental Health signed a Memorandum of Agreement: WFLC agree to provide workspace, restrooms, and parking for Tri-County Mental Health recreational vehicle (RV) at the center in order to provide mental health care and primary care to patients needing treatment. Thank You for your continual support! And we shall continue to do the work!!! Clifton Harrington Sr. Interim Executive Director
