Welcome to Worship Upcoming Events This Week: at First Baptist Church in Beverly! Middle School Fellowship - today 4-6 p.m. We welcome you to worship this morning. If you are a visitor to First Baptist Church, we ask you to fill out one of the “Here We Gather” cards, which you will find in the pew rack Senior High Fellowship - today at 6-9 p.m. in front of you. Please drop it in the offering plate during the morning offering. If you would like to know more about the church, please with Cindy Maybeck or Daniel Johnson. Online Fellowship and Books - Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. There are Prayer Request cards in the pew rack in front of you. If you would like to take a Zoom Coffee Hour - Thursday at 10:00 a.m. moment to fill one out with a prayer concern you would like shared or like the ministers to know, please do so, and then place it in the offering plate when they are passed. Kindergarten age and younger is provided throughout our service, in the Littlest Learners room on the main level, located through the double doors at the front of the sanctuary. Our Childcare Coordinator, who also regularly staffs the room, is Abby Johnstone, an alum of our Youth Fellowship program, and preschool teacher at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly. Abby will be assisted weekly by a rotating team of outstanding young people from our Youth Fellowship program. All adults who work with our children have been CORI-checked. We always encourage families and caregivers to do what is best for their child and their family during the worship time. We do hope that older youth (above grade 5) will participate in worship; a new youth class will be forming for them in the coming weeks at a time separate *Indicates Congregation Standing As They Are Able from worship. ***Indicates latecomers may be seated Hearing Assisted Devices are available for those who have a need. ANNOUNCEMENTS ORDER OF WORSHP The Fellowship Offering is received each Communion Sunday. The money that is received February 6, 2022 10:00 a.m. is distributed by the Deacons and pastoral staff to benefit members and neighbors in need. Envelopes are in the pew racks in front of you. Tolling of the Hour The Mission Committee will be selling soup by the pint ($5) and quart ($8) next Sunday Upon hearing the bells, all are invited to a time February 13. The soup will be sold directly after worship for those attending of quiet preparation for worship. Calling all youth! Are you interested in being baptized and becoming a member of First Welcome and Announcements Rev. Cindy Maybeck Baptist Church? Rev. Cindy Maybeck will teach a class for youth interested in exploring the possibility of baptism. The group will meet weekly during Lent to prepare for a service A Moment of Preparation Dobrinski of baptism on Easter morning, April 17. The first class will be held the first week of A Joyful Alleluia March. If interested contact Cindy by February 15 to sign up. Celebration Ringers Adults who are interested in baptism are welcome to meet with Cindy for an individual Call to Worship Dr. Daniel Johnson study session during Lent.
