2020 TAAF YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL STATE TOURNAMENT

Entry Fee: $250 per Team
Entry Deadline: Tuesday, November 10, 2020 by 5:00 PM
Entry forms, fees and certified rosters with a copy of each
player’s birth certificate must be received or guaranteed by
your local TAAF representative by the deadline.

to 5:00 PM.

Rules: 2019-2020 TAAF Cavalcade of Sports – Youth Flag Football
Format: Double elimination bracket. Blind draw for bracket will be held
at the coaches’ meeting on Friday, November 13, 2020.
Brackets will be posted on http://www.teamsideline.com/taaf
that evening after the coaches’ meeting.
IMPORTANT NOTE: You will not be included in the tournament
bracket if we have not received your certified TAAF roster and
copies of each player’s birth certificates by 5 p.m. on Tuesday,
November 10, 2020. If you are left off the bracket due to not
turning in paperwork, there is no refund, no exceptions.
2020 TAAF YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL STATE TOURNAMENT
Awards: Individual medals for Champions, Runner-up and Semi-
Finalists in each division. Team awards for top 4 teams in
each division.
*Due to TAAF Rules, 6U and 14U awards may be
different award packages*
Coaches Meeting: Mandatory coaches’ meeting will be held at 7:00 PM
on Friday, November 13, 2020 at the Recreation Hall
Gym. Address is 378 W. Long St. Stephenville, TX
76401. Please send one representative for each team.
Coach Policy: All coaches must go through a background check in order to
coach. TAAF Affidavit must be submitted by host city to sign
off on clearance. Coaches will be required to show ID in
order to be given the passes. Only two coaches allowed on
the field.
Game Times: Games will start on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at
8:00 am depending on the number of teams registered.
Any coach who coaches more than one team has no
guarantee that there will not be scheduling conflicts
at some point in the tournament. All teams should
be prepared to have an assistant coach in case of a
scheduling conflict.
Team Check-In: Team check-in will be at the same location of your first
game. Please show up an hour before first game in
order to check-in all the players on the team.
Uniforms: Each team must provide their own set of uniforms that
adhere with the 2019-2020 TAAF Cavalcade of Sports –
Youth Flag Football. Same color jersey with non-
duplicating numbers. The number on the front is
recommended but not mandatory. Any shorts or pants
worn must not have pockets. Any shorts or pants that
have striping, piping or a design that camouflages a
player’s flags or flag belt will not be allowed.
Equipment: Teams are expected to provide their own footballs.
TAAF will provide the flags and flag belts and teams will
be required to use.
2020 TAAF YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL STATE TOURNAMENT
Protest: All protest must be filed by the end of the game. Only a
coach may file a protest. Judgement calls cannot be
protested. You must notify the officials and scorekeeper
so the protest is noted in the book. Please complete a
protest form and submit with $75.00 non-refundable fee
in cash. Protest will be reviewed by the Protest
Committee and the ruling will be final.
