DCTV DOCUMENTARY FILM THEATER SCOPE OF WORK: THE HISTORIC ENGINE COMPANY 31 FIREHOUSE, NOW THE DOWNTOWN COMMUNITY TELEVISION CENTER, WAS BUILT IN 1895 AND DESIGNED BY ARCHITECTS NAPOLEON LEBRUN & SONS. THE SCOPE INVOLVES RENOVATION OF THE EXISTING ONE-STORY EXTENSION ON WHITE STREET TO CREATE A NEW THEATER WHICH WILL BE USED FOR SCREENING OF DOCUMENTARY FILMS. THE RENOVATION WILL PRIMARILY INVOLVE MOSTLY INTERIOR WORK WITH MINOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE WHITE STREET FACADE, TO RESTORE AN ORIGINAL ENTRY THAT IS CURRENTLY A WINDOW DUE TO PREVIOUS RENOVATION. THIS RENOVATION AIMS TO BRING LIFE TO WHITE STREET AND IMPROVE THE BUILDING FACADE, WHILE RESPECTING AND RESTORING WHAT WAS AN ORIGINAL ENTRY TO THE HISTORIC FIREHOUSE. December 20, 2018 4 of 21
