Follow these next steps to make it official. Your future is waiting – let’s make it happen! FIRST STEP GO TO MY.UCR.EDU A MyUCR admissions portal account was created for you. An email with your user name and instructions for creating a password was sent to the email address provided in your UC Application. If you did not receive an email, please contact Undergraduate Admissions at (951) 827-3411. Check My.UCR.EDU often for personalized information, checklists, provisions of admission, deadlines, test scores, admissions status and more! SAY YES TO UC RIVERSIDE! SIR NOW! Submit your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) through your MyUCR portal before May 1 at My.UCR.EDU. The sooner the better!

MAY JULY 1-15 Meet Residence Hall Housing Deadlines Submit Official Academic Documents The deadline for guaranteed first-year housing is May 10. Official, final high school and college transcripts are due by July 1. Deadlines and application process: housing.ucr.edu Official test scores are due by July 15, including SAT with essay or ACT with writing, AP (Advanced Placement), IB (International Baccalaureate), and Take the UC Analytical Writing Placement Exam (If Needed) TOEFL or IELTS. If you didn’t satisfy the UC Entry Level Writing Requirement by April 1, you must take this exam the second Saturday in May. You’ll receive a letter in BY JULY 17 early April directing you to your test center location. Submit Health Requirements Form (Required) This exam is required of all first-year students; the results will not affect your admission status. As part of our ongoing commitment to campus health and safety, all incoming students are required to show proof of mandatory immunizations and TB Screening. About the UC Entry Level Writing Requirement All incoming students must fulfill the UC Entry-Level Writing Requirement BY JULY / AUGUST (HIGHLANDER ORIENTATION) (formerly known as Subject A requirement) by April 1 to demonstrate command Upload Your R’Card Photo of the English language by scoring: The R’Card is your multi-functional Campus ID card. • 680 or Higher on SAT Evidenced-based reading Upload a photo now so your card is ready at orientation. • 30 or Higher on ACT English Language Arts Instructions: myphoto.ucr.edu/FAQ.aspx • 3 or Higher on AP Language Composition or Literature Composition. • 5 or Higher on IB Higher Level Engish Exam. COST AND FEES • 6 or Higher on IB Standard Level English Exam. The cost to attend UC Riverside is extremely competitive with private universities and other UC campuses, and living in Riverside is much less • Complete (with a grade of “C” or better) an English expensive than Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego. Also, UCR Composition course equivalent to English 1A at UC Riverside distributes more than $455 million in grant, loan, work-study and scholarship aid each year to undergraduate students.
