HOCKEY ACADEMY MEET THE COACH THE HOCKEY COACHING PROGRAMME IS DESIGNED AND LED BY TRINIDADIAN FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER AND GB MEN’S COACH, KWAN BROWNE. TECHNIQUE AND Globally renowned in the hockey world, Kwan has represented Trinidad and Tobago at the Commonwealth Games, Pan American Games and the Pan SKILLS DEVELOPMENT American Cup. Kwan also coaches at London’s premier league Hampstead and Westminster Hockey Club and is part of the England and GB coaching staff who will be heading out to Tokyo for the 2021 Olympic Games. We look forward to him coaching our hockey sessions on his return to the UK. FITNESS AND CONDITIONING TACTICS COACHING THE ACADEMY DELIVERS HIGH LEVEL KWAN HOCKEY TRAINING SESSIONS FROM INTERNATIONAL LEVEL PLAYING With a ratio of one coach to ten students, players will be challenged BROWNE on all aspects of their game in our training sessions. Sessions will focus on tactics, fitness and conditioning, technique and skills development. On top of this, goalkeepers will receive specific GOALKEEPING goalkeeping training and the programme will culminate with a tournament against a local London team. TRAINING HOCKEY ACADEMY 6
