We are keen to ensure that we offer our

The rationale for the school uniform is
as follows:

achievement and success.
To boost students’ self-esteem,
confidence and stimulate pride in
themselves and in the academy.
To prepare students for the world of
work by embedding an understanding
of responsibility and identity.

Dinnington High School Uniform Information
Footwear Plain black, formal leather or leather like shoes. This means no logos anywhere on the shoes; no coloured laces or other non-black detail etc. Low heeled or flat sensible boots are allowed under trousers. Trainers/trainer style and pumps are not acceptable. Please do check if you are unsure as many trainers are sold as shoes by leading providers. Black means TOTALLY black. UGG boots or similar are not acceptable. Laces must be plain black. Headwear Hats are not acceptable unless it is snowing or very cold. Large coloured head bands are not acceptable. Hoods on coats can be worn in the rain. Makeup and jewellery must be kept to a minimum. No excessive makeup is permitted. Hooped earrings cannot be worn at any time for health and safety reasons. No facial piercings. No extremes of hair styles will be allowed.
