Too many dinosaurs This weeks story is read by Mrs Jones Click on your SeeSaw app to listen to the story and look at the pictures.
Sensory play Dinosaur Skeleton Salt Dough Supplies • Flour • Salt • Water • Sand • Paint Brush • Activity Trays Homemade Dinosaur Bones from salt dough 1. Mix 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, and 1 cup water together in a bowl. 2. Knead the dough for 2 minutes or until it’s firm. 3. Create your own dinosaur bones with the dough. Use your imagination to create your own fossil shapes or use the guide below to create a few T Rex fossils. 4. Bake the dinosaur bones at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes per inch of thickness. 5. Allow bones to cool completely. 6. Add the dinosaur bones to an activity tray and cover with sand.
Cheesy Raptor Claws Servings: Approx. 16-24 Raptor Claws Ingredients • 1 box Puff Pastry • 1/2 cup grated cheese (or any cheese of your choice) • Your favourite Seasoning Blend (We used Onion and Garlic with a little Italian Seasoning) Instructions • Preheat oven to 400 degrees. • On a floured surface, roll out your puff pastry. • Cut into claw shape. (We did ours with the aid of circular cookie cutters) • Place claws on parchment lined baking sheet. • Top claw with pinch of cheese and a sprinkle of seasoning. • Bake for about 7 minutes or until golden. • Serve.

What have some of the IB2 students been up to last week? Listening to the sleepy farmer read by Miss Ward Dylan liked playing with the pig and ducks in mud as part of our Farm topic.
I would like to say a big ‘Thank you’ to the staff who have contributed to the photos and apps in our booklet this week.
General Targets for IB2 Eye tracking Can they follow the object with their eyes? Audio tracking Can they move their head or eyes towards the direction of the sound? Responding to exploration Do they pull their hand away when they are touching something or do they keep it there? Show likes and dislikes Do they smile, laugh, look worried? What is their face and body language doing? Making choices Can they make a choice from 2 items offered? Do they smile or grimace at one item more than the other? Do they reach out for one of the items? Do you look in the direction of one of the items? Also play music during these activities and explain what you are doing. Music can be used to cue your child in to the activity.
