SPRING 2021 WEST KOOTENAY CHILD CARE RESOURCE AND REFERRAL Child Care Resource and Referral is a program of Kootenay Kids Society and funded by the Ministry of Children and family development CCRR STAFF Program Coordinator : Happy spring everyone! SPRING 2021 May is Child Care Month in BC Thank you to all of the amazing childcare professionals in our region. Looking for ways to show your appreciation for your child care provider? Here is a list of ideas : Work with your child to create a thank you card Bring in some coffee, tea or chocolate Buy a gift certificate to a local restaurant, toy store or garden centre Share stories with your community about the importance of quality child care Create a handmade gift with your child Post a story on social media with words of thanks for your child care program. SPRING 2021 Library Cleaning guidelines In line with our library guidelines Exciting news for Early Care resources MUST be cleaned thoroughly before returning. and Learning! CCRR staff are placing items in our garage for 72 hours and doing a secondary cleaning before being put How to Make Homemade back on the shelf Bubbles Wipe down containers with INGREDIENTS soapy water. Let air dry 4 cups warm water Wipe plastic and wooden toys 1/2 cup sugar with soap, water and a damp 1/2 cup blue Dawn dish cloth. Let air dry soap (Dawn works best) Launder doll clothes, blankets, and dress-up clothing with non- INSTRUCTIONS scented detergent. 1. Combine the sugar and THANK YOU!! water.
