Recently we also started using recycled water in our nitrates cooling towers, taking our total potable water savings up to 2.9 billion litres per annum. The recycled water is delivered via an 8km pipeline from a treatment plant located in Mayfield West. Since making the switch, our site has shifted from being the largest consumer of drinking water in the region down to the 19th largest consumer.
