Three Year Overview 20152017 • 2015: Women: 13 swimmers made up 46 swims in the Top 300 Men: 14 swimmers made up 27 swims in the Top 300 • 2016: Women: 18 swimmers made up 33 swims in the Top 300 Men: 12 swimmers made up 16 swims in the Top 300 • 2017: Women: 21 swimmers made up 70 swims in the Top 300 Men: 18 swimmers made up 33 swims in the Top 300 • Evaluation would show with these numbers, progress and improvement occurred in 2017. In both Women and Men a steady increase of swimmers contributing a high number to Top 300 rankings.
Further evaluation be given to the comparison of Top 150 to that of Top 300 (Top half vs Bottom half) • 2015: Women 34% of the total swims in the Top 150 and the Men 40% of the total swims in the Top 150 • 2016: Women 51% of the total swims in the Top 150 and the Men 50% of the total swims in the Top 150 • 2017: Women 31% of the total swims in the Top 150 and the Men 42% of the total swims in the Top 150. • *Top 150 World Ranking will be the “new” threshold for Senior Team Standards beginning in 2018.

Further evaluation for Freestyle Relay Development as per a formula : Qualifying Top 12 Relay team by 2020 equates to 2 swimmers Top 50 and 2 swimmers Top 100 WR (Revised from 2017 Master Plan of 2 Top 100/2 Top 150) Top 8 Relay Team by 2020 equates to 2 swimmers Top 25 and 2 swimmers Top 50 WR To medal in 2020 2 swimmers in the top 8 and 2 swimmers in the Top 25. An interesting observation throughout this process is if a team of 4 swimmers in the 100 and 200 free event at or better than the World Ranking level of 150th is in position for a Top 12 Team Target.
