WELCOME to Shadowing & Induction Programme for July 2018 … We hope that you find the programme for your shadowing and induction programme interesting and of value! Our aim is to support your goals towards achieving training excellence, because excellent healthcare is based on excellent clinicians. FP doctors provide vital support to our clinical services and the education and training of our trainees is paramount to the Trust, Shadowing and Induction is just the start of this process. The 2018 FP Shadowing & Induction Programme is aimed at maintaining the high quality service we strive to deliver, whilst building your confidence and skills ready for life on the wards. We have engaged with various departments to organise delivery of training specifically for you in your roles as FP Doctors who are new to the organisation, and to support your further development. We hope that your shadowing and induction experience will allow you to join your new department on the 1st August and feel like a professional who is part of a multi-disciplinary team working together to improve the quality of care we provide for our patients. We wish to encourage you to pursue your development needs and take up the opportunities that are being created to fulfil your training requirements. The team will be delighted to provide all the necessary information, guidance, support and motivation for the development and success of FP Doctors in their career paths. Meanwhile, if you have any comments or suggestions as to how we can meet your needs further, please do not hesitate to contact us.
