Join the excitement of Christmas at Alexandra Park this festive
season on their most sought after nights of the year!

Enjoy a festive night out with your clients, colleagues, friends and

enjoying the electric atmosphere at Alexandra Park.

All function rooms are open from 5:30pm and have dedicated
betting and cash bar facilities.

For added entertainment on the evenings, an MC tipster will be
giving updates on each race, and spot prizes will be up for grabs
throughout the night.

All packages also include a complimentary $4 betting voucher and
admission into the Official After Party to join the live
entertainment after the last race.

You will be delighted in the Delightful Lady Lounge, which is located at
the back of the grandstand with easy access to outside viewing to catch
the racing action.

Please note this room does not have a direct view of the race track.

the track. There are screens within the restaurant for viewing.

Located on the second floor of the grandstand the Rutherford Room
offers a fantastic place for all your Christmas wishes to come true.

Epsom Balconies
Outdoor Trackside View

Enjoy the open air on the terraces of the original Art Deco styled Epsom
Stand, with the best view where you can really soak in the atmosphere
of the racing action.

Please note this option is an outdoor location. It is covered however
weather depending can be a colder location for guests. Warmer attire is
recommended. There is no wet weather contingency for this venue.

with silk lining roof and carpeted floor all wrapped up with a Christmas

This venue is located in close proximity to the track with an enclosed
viewing area to watch the races from.

Bar Service
Beverage packages start at 5.30pm and finish five
minutes before the start of the last race. Timing of the last race
is confirmed Tuesday of the week of the event and can vary from
10-11pm

Service of alcohol:
(does not apply for non-alcoholic beverages)

It is our responsibility to make sure all guests enjoy themselves.

Your wellbeing and safety are our top priorities so please don’t be
offended if we slow down the service or stop serving you alcohol.

  -              We will slow down the service of alcohol to you if we
		               think it is necessary to prevent intoxication.

  -              People who appear intoxicated will not be served
		               alcohol and will not be permitted to remain on the
		               premises.

  -              We will ensure that food is a substantial part of the
		               event and that non-alcoholic and low-alcohol drink
		               options are available for you.

  -              We will ensure that free drinking water is readily
		               available at all times.

  -              At 9pm the bar will only serve two alcohol drinks per
		               person and will no longer issue bottles of wine.

  -              NZ drivers licence, Passport or NZ 18+ card are the only
		               form of identification accepted. No id no alcoholic
		               beverages. We do not sell or supply alcohol to anyone
		               under the age of 18.

  -              Intoxicated guests arriving at Alexandra Park will be
		               turned away.

  -              Wristbands must be worn at all times- no wristband no
		               service. Alexandra Park is committed to being a
		               responsible host and to complying with the sale and
		               supply of alcohol act. With our responsible service of
		               alcohol policy, we look forward to providing you with an
		               enjoyable and secure environment.
ATM Facilities
An ATM is located in the main foyer of the Function Centre adjacent to
the main escalator.

There are also cash out facilities in the following locations:

        -        Hobson Room (tote)
        -        Rutherford Room (tote)
        -        Outdoor caravan
        -        The Alex Bar & Eatery (bar side)

After Party
The after party will commence immediately after the last race in the
Alex Bar and Eatery.

The band will finish at approximately 1am.

Tickets
Tickets will be sent out prior to the event date to the organiser’s
address of choice.

Parking & Access
Access to Alexandra Park is through Gate D on Green Lane West.

Parking passes are not required

Parking is complimentary

Parking stewards will help direct traffic to available parking spaces

Disabled parking is through Gate B in front of the main Function Centre.
Alert parking attendant and display pass on vehicle dashboard.

Cars may be left at Alexandra Park overnight and we have security at all
times. However leaving vehicles is at the owners’ risk.

Dress Code
It is encouraged that clients dress up in smart dress for events at
Alexandra Park.

Entry may be refused for guests inappropriately dressed for the event.

Dress jeans are appropriate
Shorts, casual sneakers, baseball caps, beanies etc. are not appropriate
race attire.

Santa’s Picks & MC’s
An MC will give tips throughout the night and inform guests about
dining times and more!

For each race a horse will be selected and promoted as ‘Santa’s Pick’- a
good choice for those who are not sure what to bet on.
Santa’s race tips will be located in the race book and the driver will be
wearing a red helmet cover with a white pompom.
Booking Process
Pencil Booking
        -        Clients can pencil in a reservation which is held for 10
		               days. It is the client’s responsibility to contact
		               Alexandra Park to confirm.
        -        Table requests are taken into consideration, however
		               cannot be guaranteed. All bookings are first in first
		               served. A waiting list is created to help manage
		               requests.

Booking Confirmation
       -       Once confirmed a booking letter will be emailed
		             outlining the chosen package, date, inclusions as well
		             as payment instructions. A 50% deposit is required 7
		             days from receiving the booking letter.

		               Failure to pay a deposit may result in your booking
		               being cancelled. The venue is not required to send out
		               reminders for payment.

Deposit/ Final Payment
        -        The deposit is based on the number of guests you have
		               booked for. The balance for final payment is due one
		               month prior to the event date along with final numbers.
		               No refunds apply to number changes after final
		               payment date unless we are able to sell your returned
		               tickets.

Guest Booking Numbers
       -       We appreciate clients alerting us early to any drastic
		             changes in numbers so we can make arrangements to
		             cater for your booking or allow us to sell the
		             non-required space.

There is NO refund for bad weather. We race in all conditions- rain, hail
or shine.

Christmas at the Races is very popular and sells out every year.

Security
Security will be checking age on arrival if you look under the age of 25
years.

Security has the right to refuse entry to Alexandra Park and to search
your bags for prohibited items.
