Traditional Goose Dinner
There are many legends about the traditional German Christmas dinner. One says that the humble Saint Martin hid in a goose’s
stall to avoid being appointed bishop of Tours. However, he was given away by the loud chattering of the geese. For this reason,
the goose is seen as one of his holy attributes. In addition, November 11th is also the start of the carnival season and the tradi-
tional starting day of St. Martin’s goose dinner. Enjoy a traditionally prepared goose dinner with us in the “Theaterkeller” restaurant.
