SPORTS REPORT from Mr G REGIONAL SWIMMING 2021 A huge congratulations to our 9/10 year old girls’ freestyle relay team who competed at the Regional Swimming event in Geelong yesterday. It’s a huge effort to make it to this level, let alone come away with a top 3 placing. Molly, Ava, Mikayla and Chloe came third overall in their age group, which is an incredible achievement. Well done, we’re extremely proud of you girls. GOLF TOURNAMENT Two boys from our school, Henry and Phoenix competed at Victorian Primary Schools golf event on Monday to take on the best competition in our area. By all reports both boys well and truly held their own and represented the school admirably. Phoenix shot a 67 (9 holes) which included two 5’s on the 2nd and 8th hole. Henry finished with a 52 (9 holes), including two 4’s on the 4th and 9th holes. Henry’s score was enough to give him second place overall, and therefore qualify him for the next round later in the year. Fantastic effort Henry. Congratulations to both boys.
