SPRING 2022 BOOKENDS a publication of the Friends of the Southern Pines Public Library The Southern Pines Public Library is excited to announce the first annual Pages of the Pines, A Festival of Books Celebrating Local Authors. Local authors and illustrators are invited to apply for a table at the main festival event on Saturday, May 14. With a set-up similar to a craft fair, the festival will focus on books written and illustrated by residents of the Sandhills. The main event will be held on the grounds of the library. Exhibitors can purchase a whole table or half table space. Indoor and outdoor spaces will be available. Because this event is sponsored by the Friends of the Southern Pines Public Library, members of the Friends may have a space at no charge. The festival will be bookended by a networking mixer on Friday, May 13 and a Q&A Session on Sunday, May 15. Locations and times to be announced. For more information and to apply for a vendor table, visit bit.ly/PagesofthePines or email Laurel Holden at lholden@sppl.net. Are you prepared for the unexpected?
