Young Merchant Conference 2021 Following the success of the Young Merchant Conference held in 2018, the BMF are holding a second Conference with the theme “Building the Next Generation”. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with the BMF Young Merchants Group which has grown in popularity and prestige in recent years. The group is comprised of the future business leaders of our Industry. Along with the profile gained through the below options your company will be featured in trade and BMF press in the lead-up to the event and featured on our website and social media channels. Who will be in attendance?
In the 1990s, the first incarnation of the BMF Young Merchants group proved an invaluable
introduction to the merchant industry. Many of the original members are now senior
directors having used the opportunities presented to develop their knowledge and industry
standing.
Today the BMF Young Merchant Forum comprises almost 101 young managers and
directors, aged 21-40, in BMF member companies. These individuals represent their
businesses as future leaders within the construction supply chain. The event is open to all
current Young Merchants as part of their annual subscription and also prospective new
members as an opportunity to bring them on board if nominated by their company.
This special event has opened up the gates to former Young Merchants for a coming together
not seen before in the Industry. These former Young Merchants have now progressed onto
influential positions in their own businesses and have given up their time to commemorate
an BMF forum that they found great value in.
