We know it’s been a tough semester, with most of the time being spent in lockdown
doing online learning. As we approach the end of Semester Two, we hope everything
goes well with your online exams in the coming weeks. In this email you’ll find various
ways the University can support you, as well as some fun ways to round off the
year and look to 2022.

Remember, the University of Auckland is a prestigious institution and everyone who is
accepted to study with us deserves to be here. Do your best, trust yourself, and
remember to take a break every now and then!

Study spaces
                                                At Alert Level 3, limited study spaces
                                                are available at KEIC, OGGB, Tai
                                                Tonga, and Tai Tokerau if your home
                                                environment is not suitable to study or
                                                sit your online exam.

Spaces on campus during exams

All exams this semester are online, and students can take their exams from anywhere.
Limited non-bookable spaces are available throughout the University on a first-come,
first-served basis to meet level 3 spacing requirements. Check out when the library and
campuses are open.

                                             testing
                                             Yesterday the University tested
                                             its UoA Alert emergency notification
                                             system via the Kāhu student app. If
                                             you have the Kāhu app and did not
                                             receive a test alert, please check your
                                             notification settings to ensure they are
                                             turned on. If you have not yet
                                             downloaded the app, it is not too late!

AUSA Trivia Night

                                                  live from the Forbidden
                                                  Forest; a.k.a Kahoot! Get out those
                                                  quills and study like Hermione to
                                                  achieve an Outstanding grade. A well-
                                                  deserved 2 hour muggle study break
