A COLLECT FOR CLUBWOMEN Keep us, oh God from pettiness. Let us be large in thought, in word, in deed. Let us be done with fault-finding And leave off self-seeking. May we put away all pretense And meet each other face to face, Without self-pity and without prejudice. May we never be hasty in judgment And always generous. Let us take time for all things. Make us to grow calm, serene, gentle. Teach us to put into action our better impulses, Straightforward and unafraid. Grant that we may realize it is The little things that create differences, That in the big things of life we are at one. And may we strive to touch and to know The great, common human heart of us all. And, oh Lord God, let us forget not To be kind! Mary Stewart Colorado Our Collect is a prayer or invocation that reminds us of our purpose or aspirations, so it is always at the front of our yearbook and is often used as an inspirational message or a formal closing. 10

A Special Thank You to President Pam Ament who guided us through a very stressful pandemic time, helping us learn to navigate Zoom and embrace her theme: “Change Is Beautiful” Convention does not become successful without the work of many people, so a big thank you to the Districts and members who came forward to volunteer and fill all the time slots for helping make Convention go smoothly. We especially appreciate those who went beyond what was asked of them by providing extra prizes for the drawings. Thank you, too, to the members who decided to attend the convention, our first face to face one since 2019. And to those who learned ZOOM and participated in the virtual convention last year.
