The VINE door will be locked 5 minutes after the start of the activity. If you are late, you will still
be charged for the activity.
TO SIGN UP: Call LEEP or return the registration form in the mail with payment.
When emailing to sign up for activities, please email by the 5th each month as activities fill
quickly. If after the 5th of the month, please call the office to sign up.
LEEP Payment Checklist - August 2021
For your convenience, LEEP has included this checklist to assist with registration and to make the payment
process easier. To make sure you reserve a spot at your favorite activity you can call the LEEP office and
mail payment immediately after the call or bring your payment to the first activity you participate in.

A huge thank you everyone who helped make LEEP Legends
2021 a success. We raised about $63,000!! The players,
sponsors, committee members, volunteers, and fans make the
event possible! Congratulations to team GSW for taking home
the "W". LEEP is grateful for the combined support that is
provided by such a wonderful group of individuals and
businesses! We look forward to LEEP Legends 2022!
2021 FALL SPORTS SEASON
S E P T E M B E R - N O V E M B E R
BOWLING and FOOTBALL
At this time we do not have logistics for fall sports. Please call Karli at the LEEP office (507)-387-5122 and let her know if
you are interested in participating in bowling or football so we can start the paperwork process.
In order to participate in Special Olympic sports, athletes must complete an Athlete Application and COVID-19 Waiver
Form for participation. All sections must be completed, signed, require a doctor’s signature, physical and background
check. Forms will not be accepted if not completed fully. Once completed, the application must be turned into the LEEP
Office and LEEP will submit the form to the Special Olympics Minnesota’s (SOMN) office. This application does not
guarantee acceptance into the Special Olympics program until official word is received from SOMN.
• Forms must be updated every three years to continue participation. Athletes are not allowed to participate in Special
Olympics practices or tournaments without a current completed form. If you are in question as to whether you have this form
completed, please call LEEP at 507-387-5122 and we can verify this for you. This form must be updated every three years. If it is not
up to date, the athlete will not be able to practice or compete until cleared by Special Olympics Minnesota.
• All athletes must be a paid LEEP member before participating in any LEEP activities. After the athletes have registered for their
sports, LEEP will mail out specific information regarding practice times, tournament dates, what to wear, etc.
• Special Olympics is open to participants age 8 and over. LEEP will attempt to place younger athletes together.

Bingo LEEP would like to remind guardians and staff that it is their responsibility to AWLAYS check
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm participants in with LEEP staff. We want to provide a safe environment for all participants who
VINE attend LEEP events. This includes individuals wearing proper summer attire. Individuals will
not be able to participate if they are not dressed accordingly and staff/ guardians will be
contacted.
Severe Weather Reminder
With summer weather well upon us, LEEP would like to remind all
participants/ staff/ guardians to always pay attention to the
weather. Programs will be held as scheduled if there is a Severe
Weather Watch in effect. It will be up to participants/staff if they
would like to attend. In order to not be charged, cancellations
must be called in according to the regular cancellation policy.
It is LEEP's policy to cancel any and all LEEP programs if a
Tornado Warning is in effect. No phone calls will be made to
participants/ staff/ guardians, but participants will be given a
credit/ refund if the program was canceled prior to the program
start.
Watch: Programs will continue as scheduled.
