By purchasing these cards, you won’t need to worry about having the correct change at every class. For your first card of 10 passes, we will give you one free class when your card is fully used. Nedlands Affinity Club Events for 2019: save the dates! International Friendship Day lunch Thursday, 14 February Lunch in the Swan Valley. We will take the Nedlands bus to get there and back. More details to follow. St Patrick’s Day Celebration Thursday, 14 March We will have fun at a venue near here. Dress in green. Have your jokes ready. More details to follow. If you have not tried... Sing with us! Every Wednesday at 1.30pm Our Affinity Choir had its debut on 7 December to great applause and praise from fellow Affinity members. This term, the Affinity Choir is planning to sing popular songs. Bring your preferred song and we will put your choices in a hat and choose a few to start us off in January. No auditions necessary. We sing for joy, health and to feel good. Coffee and tea are served. Meet at Dalkeith Hall from 1.30pm, Wednesday 16 January. CuppaCrafts Monthly on Mondays at 2pm Some of you have not finished your teddies for the Red Cross, so bring them along to have them filled up and do the last bits with us. Alternatively, suggest a craft of your choice and we can organise a group of us to start a new project. New at the Mt Claremont Community Centre: “The Hive” The Affinity Club has three activities at this new venue: • 2pm Mondays: Chair Yoga with Caroline Monro (back on 4 February) • 11am Tuesdays: Chair Pilates wth Ilsa Smith (new from 5 February) • 12 noon Fridays: Canasta wth April (back from 8 February) What we did in spring! In November, we celebrated the Melbourne Cup at NCC. We had the cocktail Buck’s Fizz, sweepstakes and lovely food, beautifully presented by Delizioso at IGA Dalkeith. In October, we had a very interesting presentation about My Health Record.
