Queenstown – Christchurch Golf Tour 15 to 27 September 2021 (13 days - 12 nights) Detailed Itinerary & Golf Programme Tour Cost AUD 10,500/Couple (AUD 5,250 pp Twin Share) You are invited to join Trendsetter Travel’s Queenstown and Christchurch NZ golf tour. Your tour hosts are David Cooper and Adrienne Witteman. You will stay 7 nights at the 5 star Millbrook Resort, arguably the leading golf resort in Australia and New Zealand and 5 nights in Christchurch at the recently developed Sudima Hotel in down town Christchurch. Golf will be scheduled on all but 2 days – those 2 days are available for independent activities with so many options available. We have chosen late September to capture spring golfing conditions immediately prior to most golf courses having their annual maintenance programmes (usually involving greens coring). This tour has been rescheduled from March 2021 due to the delay in the introduction of the NZ/Australia travel bubble. Golf carts will be complimentary for all golf rounds played. Golf will include 5 rounds in Queenstown (including 2 rounds at each of Jacks Point and Millbrook) and 3 rounds in Christchurch (including Clearwater, Pegasus and Harewood). Of the 6 courses (8 golf games) we play, all but one has been rated in the top 10 of the South Island. If you elect to walk with a pull trolley for any of the golf games, we provide a cash credit equal to the cost saving. Each golf game will be run with a stableford competition and daily individual events for men, ladies and 2 Ball Better Ball. Strict rules of golf will apply other than the “Irish Rule” for lost balls in the interests of speeding up play. We are staying in early spring when the weather should be good although this is New Zealand and there is no guarantee of brilliant weather regardless of the time of the year. However, Queenstown and Christchurch are among the cities with the lowest levels of annual rainfall in New Zealand at 33 inches and 24 inches respectively. Subject to the expected resumption of return air travel to New Zealand without quarantine, this tour is guaranteed to proceed without any minimum number in the tour party. Full cash refund if scheduled return air travel to New Zealand is not possible without quarantine requirements. It is noted that Covid 19 has all but been eradicated in New Zealand. 1
