The Mercantile Spice Village Heritage Creamery DAY 1 THURSDAY, JUNE 6 TONKAWA, OK We board our deluxe motorcoach in Carroll this morning and head west to Lincoln, Nebraska, to pick up additional travelers. Stops will be made for comfort and lunch on our own along the way as we journey to Tonkawa, OK, where our overnight accommodations await. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax and have dinner at your leisure. DAY 2 FRIDAY, JUNE 7 WACO, TX (B) After breakfast at the hotel, we will board our motorcoach for the drive to Pawhuska, OK, to visit The Mercantile. Owned by Ree Drummond, known across the country as the Pioneer Woman, The Mercantile is a general store, deli and bakery all wrapped into one! Explore this homage to small-town America and browse the unique selection of nearby shops during our time in Pawhuska. You’ll be able to find everything from Western apparel and Native American goods to home decor and women’s clothing! Lunch is on your own before our early afternoon departure for Waco, TX. Upon arrival at our hotel in Waco, the remainder of the evening is at your leisure. The hotel is located within walking distance of Magnolia Market and a number of restaurants where you can enjoy dinner on your own. DAY 3 SATURDAY, JUNE 8 WACO, TX (B) Today is yours to explore Waco your way! A free trolley will be available for those looking to explore. Downtown Waco is a unique cultural district brimming with fun finds, from antiques and home decor to artisanal crafts and high-end boutiques. Consider making the short walk to the famous Magnolia Market, the home goods shop owned by Chip and Joanna Gaines of Fixer Upper fame. Here, one can find a wide range of decor pieces in Joanna’s signature style including baskets, signage, knick knacks and furniture. Other unique places include The Findery, Common Grounds, Heritage Creamery, Laverty’s Antiques and Furnishings, and Spice Village. With an array of delicious dining options from all across the globe, Waco’s downtown is also the perfect place to enjoy lunch and dinner on your own. DAY 4 SUNDAY, JUNE 9 HOME (B) We depart early this morning with muffins available on the bus. Sit back, relax and enjoy the journey home to Lincoln and Carroll while sharing the treasures you found with your fellow travelers! Stops will be made for comfort and lunch on our own along the way.
