Teneo School's qualified teachers are passionate about digital technology in order to
empower every student to master the wonderful journey of the teaching system.
All classes are admitted and enrolled students have access to all of this learning material
when it is released.
All formal tasks have fixed dates that must be strictly adhered to in order to achieve
academic integrity.
Our teachers are subject specialists from all over South Africa and have the sole
purpose of making teaching more fun and interactive through the digital platform, from
the comfort and safety of home.

TENEO
ADULT MATRIC
Adult Matric is a specialised fast-tracked two-year programme. Students complete
Grade 10 and Grade 11 in the first year, and Grade 12 in the second year.
Content is designed to be completely asynchronous, meaning students are able
to have access to teaching content, as it is released.
• You will have access to all daily recorded lessons.
• You can communicate directly with your dedicated subject teacher via the
Canvas Inbox
• You will have access to MORE content than ever before. Students are able to
access ALL teaching content produced for that week.
• You will receive 10 one-on-one tutor sessions per term (a total of 40 sessions
per year)

Subjects from the following are available in English and Afrikaans.
Student must select all subject choices in only one chosen language medium.

*Subjects marked with an asterisk involve submitting a Practical Assessment Task (PAT). These tasks are compulsory.
PLEASE NOTE:
* It compulsory for students completing Matric to take a Home Language, FAL, Mathematics or Mathematical
Literacy and Life Orientation. They can then choose 3 additional subjects.
* All Physical Science students must take Mathematics.

diagnostic tool that allows learners to discover
which concepts they struggle with and how far
back they need to go to catch up.

ACCESSIBLE FROM
ANY SMART DEVICE
AND DESKTOP
It provides individualised programmes, helping learners build on and strengthen their
understanding of those concepts from exactly where they missed out.
More than 60% of students have foundational gaps in Maths. But as teachers, it’s incredibly difficult
to provide the personal support needed for every student. The Reflective Learning App identifies
backlogs for each student and provide a personalised catch-up course to bridge the gaps.

FEES
2022
Teneo School Fee Structure (2022)
Total fees for 2021 will be R25 620 per annum. These are payable in Annually/
Termly/Instalments.
Choose between the following:
Annual: 7% discount when the FULL INSTALMENT for the year is
R25 620 settled
paid in advance OR Free admission to Xtra Mathematics classes for 4 terms
(worth R7 200)
Termly:
Receive Xtra Mathematics classes for free for the specific term R6 405 per term
(worth R1 800 per term) paid in advance
Instalments:
The first instalment is paid upon enrolment and thereafter
R2 135 x 12
instalments paid every month end until the total annual fees have been
in advance paid in full.
*Please Note: One month’s notice is required should you wish to discontinue with Teneo School.
Fees exclude textbooks, SACAI registration and exam centre fees.
Matric Rewriting of Subjects:
If you are already in possession of a National Senior Certificate (NSC) from 2008 to
date, you may apply for the rewriting of selected subjects to improve results.
Fee Structure:
1 – 3 Subjects: R500 per subject per month.
4 – 7 Subjects: This is considered a full course and fees will be the same as our
monthly instalments.MINIMUM
COMPUTER REQUIREMENTS
• Internet connection: 10 mbps + download speed and 2 mbps + upload speed. Less
than 200 ms latency. Fiber, LTE or satellite internet connection.
• Latest version of Google Chrome.
• Printer and Scanner: Scanning apps are available for smartphones and tablets
(however, you need one that can create a multi-page pdf document)
• Backup Power Source: A backup power source is recommended to ensure
uninterrupted access to tests and exams.
Computer Specifications:
• Processor: Intel i3 8th generation or higher, i5 7th generation or higher, i7 7th
generation or higher. AMD Ryzen 3, 5, 7, 9 will work
• RAM: Minimum 4 Gb
• Hardware: Webcam and microphone (comes standard on most laptops. Here are
some suggestions for webcams with built-in microphones for the computer:
Hikvision, Microsoft, Marvo)
• Software: Windows 10 / MacOS 10.15 or later, Adobe Acrobat free pdf viewer, Team
Viewer and Office 365 (free online version provided by Teneo if requested via
support@teneoschool.co.za The Free online version is not suitable for CAT.
Textbooks:
Textbooks can be purchased in e-book format (Windows 10, MacOS, iOS or Android
Device required) or hardcover books can be obtained at any bookstore that sells school
books.
Recorded
ClassesSACAI
REGISTRATION
Teneo School is a distance learning institution and our students are registered with
SACAI as homeschoolers. SACAI is an independent examination board that assesses the
NSC curriculum.
Only the Final Examination (Grade 12) is written at a physical SACAI registered centre.
Candidates are allocated to such centres with settlement of the Final Examination Fee to
SACAI.
