Jamboree Incentive Each Scout who is registered to attend the National Jamboree in 2021 is eligible to receive a bonus 15% commission on individual popcorn sales. Scouts must be registered online and have paid at least the deposit to be eligible. Jamboree Incentive form in your packets on the website at www.hawkeyebsa.org/popcorn

How To Sell Tasting Kit Scout Tasting Session The purpose of a tasting session is to have each Scout try 1 or 2 kernels of each flavor. Once everyone has tasted the flavors, have the Scouts vote on which popcorn they liked best! By conducting a tasting session for your group you create product familiarity and product knowledge. Now each Scout can use the tasting results as a selling tool Organize a sale timeline from within the Council timeline that best fits your unit’s potential and calendar Assign goals down to each individual den/patrol and Scout Relay the unit’s plan to all Scouts, leaders, and families – connect the sales goal to the unit budget

• Show & Sell Where To Sell – Setting up a display of your popcorn at a high traffic area is an easy way to increase your sale! • Show & Deliver – Combines the Show & Sell (Products ordered in advance) and Take Order (Going door-to-door). One Stop Selling! Take Order – The traditional way for Scouts to sell popcorn is going door-to-door in the community. Customers place their order on the take order form and it gets delivered after the sale. Online Sales – Customers can support Scouts from across the country with prpopcornstore.com. Each Scout gets credit for what is sold.

August Sale Schedule 7 – Popcorn Kickoff – Units can submit orders at kickoff September 13 – Final day for units to place online orders 25 - Sale Begins – All Units Pick up order forms at your District warehouse or Friday at the Council Service Center – Show & Sell Units will pick up Show & Sell Popcorn at their District’s warehouse October 21 – Turn in 50% of your Unit cost (as of the report you will receive on October 14th) November 12 – Turn in roster of all Scouts that sold popcorn (Unit sales roster form) December 6 - Sale Ends – - Show and sell returns due (5% containers max. – goal of ZERO) – Payment is due for show and sell sales – Take orders and/or any new show and sell orders due – Turn in Unit challenge event form – Online prize order deadline – Movie and Limo Event prize order deadline – Military letters due to the Council Service Center
