Year 8 project - Refugee Awareness Week June 2020 Hello Year 8s, This week we will be focusing on Refugee Awareness Week, which takes place from the 15th to 20th June. • Literacy Task - Persuasive Writing Techniques- Using persuasive text to write a letter to the Prime Minister. • Numeracy Task – Solving the calculations. • Science Task – Investigate balanced and unbalanced forces. • Humanities Task – Which countries do refugees originate from? • Art Task – Design a Happy Birthday Message for the NNRF who is celebrating their 20th anniversary.
