We never buy more than a case or two of these wines at a time, and when they're gone they're gone…

Seyval Blanc
Peter Hall was a pioneer of the English wine scene, planting six acres of vines in the South Downs, a stones throw
from the Channel. He was one of the first to clock the potential of Seyval Blanc in our uniquely challenging
climate and his single vintage Seyval is a glorious - mixing pure green apple and lime with richer toast character.
Montlouis 'Remus', Domaine de la Taille aux Loups, Loire, France 2016 £48
Chenin Blanc
Iconic, premium quality Chenin Blanc from the lesser-known Montlouis appellation, for many years in the shadow
of its grander neighbour Vouvray. Clean, crisp yellow peach and mandarin notes with a steely acidity and flinty
finish.

Aligoté
The 'other' white Burgundy grape - often overlooked, but this is a stunner from the co-director of the iconic
Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Flinty, textured, fresh and long - a great alternative to Chablis. 2018 was a warm
year so brings additional roundness to the party.

Viognier
Textbook Condrieu - ripe apricot and peach, honey and blossom, with bags of texture and weight. Pure
indulgence from the Ogiers, a domaine at the top of their game.

Sauvignon Blanc | Pinot Blanc | Friulano
One of Italy's most prestigious white wines, first produced in 1981, this is exotic, intense and extremely complex.
Definitely one to try.

Located right on the border with Margaux, Cambon make classic left-bank Bordeaux - medium-weighted, food-
friendly wines that benefit from an added touch of Petit Verdot for structure and inky dark fruit.

Merlot | Cabernet Franc | Cabernet Sauvignon
Floral, earthy and crisp red fruit - this has more than a few similarities with Burgundian Pinot Noir, rather than the
big, punchy wines that many made in Bordeaux in 2005. Soft tannins and nicely rounded, L'Arrosée is often great
value.

Laurent Tribut is the son-in-law of Chablis icon Rene Dauvissat and for many years his wines were made in
Dauvissat's cellars. Traditional in style, with old oak used for texture but not flavour - wonderfully round, ripe fruit
but with that classic Chablis salty mineral streak that keeps it all in balanced. Stunning.
