Where to Donate Furniture Thank you for contacting Jconnect for help donating furniture. As of December 2013, the places listed below will accept furniture; however not all of them have a pickup service. Many places will not take mattresses or other upholstered items, may have restrictions on stair or elevator usage, and/or may only pick up from single family homes. Almost all of these places schedule their pickups several weeks or more in advance, so please call to schedule as soon as you know that you will need the service. You can always cancel. A few organizations offer a next-day pickup option for a fee. Please note that organizational priorities change; so when you call to schedule a pickup please be very clear about what you are donating. If an organization no longer takes any type of furniture please call 1-888-246-1818 to have them removed from this list.
