COOKIE STATEMENT – BINNOVART
1. Parties
In the present Cookie Statement, following words must be understood as:
« Binnovart »: meaning Binnovart Ltd., whose head office is located Avenue des Lilas 81, 1410 Waterloo
(Belgium), registered at the Belgian Central Enterprise Databank under the number 0541.569.509.
« Platform »: meaning the virtual platform from which Binnovart proposes its networking facilitation
services to Artists and Investors, towards the online sale of works of art.
« User »: meaning any natural (individual) or legal person (company) which visits the Website of Binnovart,
for consultation purposes only.
« Member »: meaning any natural (individual) or legal person (company) which is validly registered on
the Website of Binnovart, either as an Artist or as an Investor.
« Website »: meaning the website operated by Binnovart, accessible via www.binnovart.com, and on
which Binnovart provides its networking facilitation services to Artists and Investors, towards the online
sale of works of art.
« Telecommunications Act » : meaning the Act pertaining to various provisions regarding electronic means
of communication (URL).
« Electronic Communications Act » : implementation of Telecommunications Act in Section 129 of the
Electronic Communications Act of 13 June 2005 (URL).
2. What are Cookies ?
Cookies are small piece of data or text files sent from a website and stored on your local computer
while you are browsing that website. Cookies are then sent back to the originating website on each
subsequent visit, or to another website that recognises that cookie.
Such cookies may have different purposes: there are technical (functionality) cookies, which allow websites

features; session (temporary) cookies, which allow website operators to link the actions of a user during a

differently in each European country. Item 7, “I am not from Belgium. Does a different form of approval
apply to my country?” gives an overview of how each European country implements cookie legislation.
3. What is the use of Cookies ?
Binnovart wants to keep you informed about this new legislation and about the cookies it uses. Cookies
help Binnovart to optimise your visit to its Website, to remember technical choices (e.g., a language
setting) and to show you more relevant services and offers.
If you want to consult the Website of Binnovart, we recommend enabling cookies. If however, you do

6. How can I manage cookies ?

Click on to ‘Cog’ icon in the top of your browser window and select ‘Preferences’.
Click on ‘Security’ and then tick the option that says: ‘Block cookies from third parties and
advertisers’.

7. I’m not from Belgium. Does a different form of approval apply to my country?
Binnovart is a Belgian society. It is possible that people who are not from Belgium visit the Website.
The way in which European Member States implement cookie legislation often differs widely, making
it difficult for the User or the Member to find out how his or her approval must be given. The table
below offers an overview of the European Members States, the implementation status of cookie
legislation and the implementation method (if any).
