ICCX Western Europe 2021
The trademark of ICCX is a unique combination of conference
and trade exhibition, covering all aspects of modern concrete
production and technology. This format gives suppliers to the
concrete industry the opportunity to meet face-to-face with
decision makers in a technical setting.
ICCX Western Europe will be the new meeting point for the
concrete and precast industries in Western Europe, especially
Germany and Benelux. Organized from November 03.-04. 2021
in the Maritim Hotel in Bonn, Germany, it will be offering a
unique trade show with 80+ exhibitors. The conference program
offering dedicated lectures for the regional concrete and precast
industries will attract 750+ concrete professionals. ICCX Western
Europe will be organized two times within the next three years.
For quite some time, digitizing has shown the route that
modern construction is heading for. Processing work in concrete
production facilities and on construction sites is continually being
digitized and an increasing number of projects where digital
construction is successfully and efficiently implemented,
hence furnishing evidence that this development in construction
activities is not at all short lived but rather a logical trend that is
here to stay.
It is therefore BIM, Building Information Modeling, with its net-
worked planning, execution, and management of buildings,
that is discussed by everyone concerned. However, many players
of the industry are just in the starting blocks of this process chain
that is very well known for its complexity. For, besides the
intended more economical and speedy construction processes
promised by digitizing, the use of IT tools is also meant to
minimize the occurrence of risks in project planning.
The ICCX Western Europe will showcase current trends in
digital construction and provide ample opportunities for expert
discussions about latest developments in the industry.

CPI has already hosted trade shows for the concrete industry
at the Maritim Hotel Bonn more than 15 years ago . In 2021,
ICCX Western Europe will come back
to this location, which is perfectly located in central Germany,
very close to Belgium and The Netherlands, and well
connected to Western Europe through the Cologne Bonn
airport which is less than 30 mins away. The conference and
exhibition center has a capacity for more than 130 booths
and facilitates modern AV equipment to ensure a high end
congress for the concrete industry.

The conference programme focusses on digital construction
with precast concrete elements. The scene will be set by the
opening presentation on “Digital construction – where are we
now, where are we going, and who is coming along?“. In the
following conference programme, leading experts will discuss
the effects of digitisation on today’s and future precast con-
crete production and the related construction technologies.
The conference topics cover all industry branches, ranging from
structural precast to concrete pipes and concrete elements.
